Cleanings

Good dental health starts with regular cleanings scheduled twice each year. With every visit, we will scrub away the accumulated tartar and then polish the teeth until they shine. 

Examinations

Start your child’s dental care by their first birthday and be sure to schedule them for examinations every six months after that. By having complete examinations twice a year and getting a little more education with every visit, we can teach your child how to avoid the need for fillings, root canals or other dental treatment. 

Digital X-Rays

Our state-of-the-art system is faster and exposes our patients to lower doses of radiation. We can also show you and your child the images and explain exactly what treatment is needed and why. 

Intraoral camera

These small handheld cameras fit inside a patient’s mouth, enabling us to show you and your child exactly what problems need treatment. 

Fluoride treatments

Fluoride is known to harden enamel which makes teeth less susceptible to cavities. 

Sealants

This durable coating applied to the chewing surface of cavity-prone back teeth helps our young patients avoid cavities. 

Xylitol

Instead of providing fluoride treatments, we can actually treat your children’s teeth with xylitol. This treatment doesn't just help prevent cavities, it makes genetic changes to the bacteria that causes cavities. Over time, this bacteria can no longer attack the teeth.  

Sports guards

With a mouthpiece guarding your child’s teeth, you can prevent injuries during athletics or other vigorous activities which is much better than the child going through the trauma of injury and treatment. Please consult with us about your mouth guard needs. 

Diet

Don’t forget that providing nutritious snacks and staying away from sugary snacks and drinks also helps your child avoid cavities and the need for dental treatment.
