Our Services

Because we specialize in education, prevention and treatment for children, the procedures we very commonly offer our patients are a little different from those in general dentistry practices. We start our care by advising women during pregnancy and then examining and treating even the tiniest babies.

As children grow up, our common procedures include the dental care that adults are more familiar
with such as fillings and extractions.

Infant Care

Our infant care actually starts during a mom’s second trimester and continues right on through to caring for baby’s first teeth and preventing decay. We also offer assistance to mothers-to-be who plan to nurse to help ensure their success. If you’re expecting, please call us to learn how we can get your baby on the right path to excellent oral health.

Dental Care

We offer a full range of dental care services, everything a child or teen might need. This includes fillings, crowns, extractions and emergency services to cope with the effects of sudden toothaches or accidents.

We are also pleased to offer prevention services like cleanings and examinations during which we educate our young patients on the right way to care for their teeth.

Dr. Denisse has equipped her office with a Solea dental laser which is used instead of a drill. Because it is painless, patients have no need for anesthetics. This makes dental treatment non-traumatic for even the smallest patients.

Known for her patience and compassionate nature, Dr. Denisse also welcomes children with special needs into her practice and her heart. She will give your special needs child the time and attention they deserve.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry can make a big difference in a child’s life, taking their smile from one they want to hide to one they enjoy showing off. We can help with teeth whitening, tooth-colored fillings and crowns and gum shaping to improve a “gummy” smile. We know how important it is to a child to be able to feel good about smiling

Sleep-Disordered Breathing

Recent discoveries have revealed that poor oxygenation of a child’s blood during sleep can cause a long list of health and behavior problems. These low nighttime oxygen levels result from sleep-disordered breathing—impairment of a child’s free and proper breathing during sleep. Parents may only notice that their child snores, is restless or breathes through his mouth or has bad dreams; they may not realize a more serious condition exists. Dr. Denisse can bring relief to these children and their parents. By providing the child with an appliance worn in the mouth to correct their nighttime breathing, everyone can get a better night’s sleep.
